How to Install freeplane software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

freeplane software package provides Java program to create and edit mind maps., you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install freeplane

freeplane is installed in your system.

Make ensure the freeplane package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freeplane *

You will get with freeplane package name, version, architecture and description in a table
